AT the end of last year I was a little disappointed that I didn’t keep better track of the finer details of my travels.
I keep a running total of the countries I visit – that list is up to 47 countries – but I didn’t record things like how many flights I had taken, how many kilometres I had flown, and how many hotels I had stayed in.
So, in a Bridget Jones sort of way, I’m going to attempt to keep track...here are the numbers after the 2011 portion of my Vietnam visit.
Flights – Three in five days
Kilometres flown – 7730km...DAD to SGN 614km, SGN to SIN 1089km, SIN to MEL 6027km
Total Kilometres flown in 2011 – 7730km
Hotels – Rex Hotel Saigon
Total number of hotels in 2011 – One
Total number of hotels in 2011 – One
New stamps in my passport – Six, and a visa to visit Vietnam
